Happy Sunday! For me, it’s the beginning of the third full week of school with students (teachers returned July 28; kids August 4), which is the last week of too-much-to-do-and-not-enough-time until the winter concert creeps up. I am looking forward to being in a groove. This year has been especially difficult, because I’m not full time at my school any more, and because too many kids signed up to play in band and I don’t have enough instruments for all of them. Again, once everyone has something to play and we’re playing, it’ll be smoother. I hope
